Edge Believes Roman Reigns Should Have Ended The Undertaker’s Streak
At WrestleMania 30, Brock Lesnar pinned The Undertaker in the centre of the ring, shocking the fans in attendance as The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania was finally broken.
Three years later, Roman Reigns would also pin The Deadman at the event at WrestleMania 33.
One man who challenged and failed at the streak is Edge. While speaking to Logan Paul on the Impaulsive podcast, Edge talked about Brock Lesnar breaking The Undertaker’s streak and who he believed should have ended it.
“Yes, I do. And the only reason I say that is because I don’t think Brock needed it. He was already a world-beater. He was already UFC Heavyweight Champion. He was already all of these things whereas Roman was just on the cusp. If he were the first guy, oh man! I mean, obviously, it still worked out pretty well [for Roman]. But I think it could’ve sped it up.”
Edge
Elsewhere in the podcast appearance, Edge mentioned that he only has about a year left at an elite level. We will have to wait and see how much longer Edge will be competing in WWE.
What do you think? Should Roman Reigns have defeated The Undertaker’s undefeated streak instead of Brock Lesnar? Let us know in the comments and on our social media pages.
