Trinity Wants To Have Fun & Win Some Titles In IMPACT Wrestling

Trinity came into IMPACT Wrestling on May 4th for her debut and put the whole Knockouts locker room on notice, specifically naming Knockouts who paved the way and were trendsetters, such as Gail Kim, Mickie James, and Awesome Kong. Trinity then spoke about current Knockouts that she’d like to wrestle, including IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo & former 2x Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.

Trinity, having been out of a wrestling ring since May of 2022, was barraged with a ton of ”welcome back” chants from the electric Chicago crowd.

Deonna Purrazzo made her way out to the ring to address the newest member of the Knockouts roster.

Jordynne Grace comes out to make sure Trinity knows that shes got the next shot at the Knockouts Title coming up at Under Siege, but Trinity says shell be waiting for whoever wins that match.

After her IMPACT debut, Trinity sat down with Denise Salcedo, and was asked to describe why she decided to sign with IMPACT Wrestling, and she highlighted the company’s renowned women’s division.

“The women’s division. I think they have one of the best women’s divisions right now, and they really don’t get the highlight of the attention or the respect as much. But they’ve always had a great women’s division. They’ve always told great stories with their women’s division, and just having the conversation that I had with Gail [Kim], that really sealed the deal for me, and just having other friends there and knowing people there and knowing people there and hearing good things said about the company helped me make that choice, as well the schedule [and] just the opportunities there. I feel that right now, with all that’s going on in the world of wrestling and women’s wrestling, I feel that it’s the place where I could be most useful, and seen and heard, and that’s what made me choose IMPACT,” Trinity said.

Trinity was asked whether she feels pressure following her arrival in IMPACT, and she described how there’s always some pressure as a wrestler, but she doesn’t feel like she has to prove herself, given her previous success. She emphasized that she wants to have nonstop fun and enjoy herself. Trinity also noted that she’s determined to grow in this new chapter of her career.

“I think there’s always a pressure when you’re in the ring wrestling. Just you taking a risk every time you step into that ring is already pressure. You just never know what could go wrong or if something’s gonna go wrong with what we do, and just the pressure of being in a new company and a new place, and being able to pretty much just start all over and do well here and grow here, and just showcase more of me, that’s pressure in itself. I just want to make sure that I have nonstop fun this time. Everything will come. I don’t feel like I have to prove anything because I’ve had a great career in WWE. I really have, and I’m thankful for all of that and what I’ve done there and what they’ve been able to allow me to have there. So I really just want to continue to grow and just have fun. I think that will happen organically. There’s not anything like, ‘I gotta prove and show….’ I don’t feel that way. I just to prove to myself that I can still go and I can continue on with this wrestling career because I love it and I just want to have fun while I’m doing it,” she said.

When asked how she was feeling about her debut, Trinity made it clear that she was happy with the way everything has been going so far.

“So far, so good. I think that the debut went better than I could have even expected. So far, I’m really happy with the way everything is going, and the potential matchups, and this new space I’m in,” Trinity said.
