AEW Collision was announced yesterday, and the promotional imagery was missing one big name: CM Punk.
It has reported for quite some time that Punk will be part of the shows premiere next month, however when the show was officially announced, Punk was nowhere to be found. It would later be revealed that the deal blew up at the last minute and Punk was replaced.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that MJF was actually placed over CM Punk on that poster.
MJF was put on the poster in the position that Punk was going to be in. So, that was to fill out the poster, and the rest of the people were in the positions that they were supposed to be.

We will have to wait and see if Punk decides to make his way to AEW Collision int he near future but Bodyslam.net will continue to provide all the latest updates until he does so.
