AEW Collision Ticket Sales Aren’t Doing Well

AEW Collision does not have as much buzz as AEW would like.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer broke down ticket sales for those first Collision shows.

“I’ll tell you what, they don’t have a big buzz for Collision. They put three shows on sale, they put Toronto, Hamilton, and Newark on sale, and Newark has about 3,500 tickets out, and it’s — you would want more — for the New York market it would be the weakest opening since they’ve been going to the market.”

“Toronto is like 1,600 and that’s the day before the pay-per-view (Forbidden Door 2) that sold out instantly, and Toronto is a great market. And I heard from some people in Toronto like the publicity of it, nobody knew till Wednesday, and that’s not good. Hamilton, that’s sold under the 600 range, so really bad advances, so not a good sign.”

The debut of Collision is reportedly set to feature the return of CM Punk, but he has yet to be officially announced for the show.

We will have to wait and see if Collision tickets begin to sell more once Punk’s return to All Elite Wrestling is finalized.
