WWE Stretching Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns Feud To WrestleMania 40 “A Real Possibility”

It looks like Cody Rhodes could be finishing his story with Roman Reigns, but it may have to wait until next years WrestleMania.

At WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns went one on one with Cody looking to finish his story. However, he would be unsuccessful and has now moved on to feuding with Brock Lesnar.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter confirms however that the Cody vs Reigns storyline is not over and could end at WrestleMania 40.

As far as long-term goes, Roman Reigns vs. Rhodes is the long-term direction for the ultimate destination match. WrestleMania is a strong possibility but this far out there are so many things that can happen

At Night Of Champions this weekend, Cody will take on Brock Lesnar. Elsewhere, Roman will look to become one half of the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions also.
