In one of the biggest matches of the night, The ”American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes prevailed over Nick Aldis, to capture the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
Towards the end of the brutal match, which had Cody beaten bloody, he took advantage of a small misstep by Aldis and secured the win for the title.
This is the same title which his father, the late great Dusty Rhodes had won. Here is a clip of him celebrating his win with his wife by his side.
