Sting returns to AEW on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
During this week’s show, Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin teamed up to take on The Embassy’s Gates of Agony. During the match, Swerve Strickland, Prince Nana and Brian Cage would walk out onto the stage.
In the end, Cassidy and Allin walked away with the victory. However, once the match was over, the men at the top of the ramp would walk to the ring, making it essentially a five on two situation, but the babyfaces had backup.
Sting’s music would hit, sending The Embassy running as he made his first appearance on AEW television in weeks.
Sting has been off AEW television the last few weeks to allow Darby Allin to be his own man during the four pillars storyline in the leadup to AEW Double Or Nothing.
