Braun Strowman is not expected to return in 2023.
Strowman recently underwent neck fusion surgery and was released from hospital days later. Not a lot has been known about how long Strowman will be out of action for, but that no longer seems to be the case.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Braun Strowman will be out of action for over a year.
Strowman, 39, underwent neck fusion surgery on his C-4 and C-5 vertebrae this past week at the Andrews Sports Medicine clinic in Birmingham. Generally neck fusion surgery is just over one year out of action

Strowman was teaming with Ricochet prior to his surgery, and will undoubtedly be missed during his time away from WWE.
We will just have to wait and see how Strowman’s recovery goes over the course of the next year.
