Roman Reigns’ First Title Defense Since WrestleMania Set For June 17th
Roman Reigns will defend his title for the first time since WrestleMania and since he was presented with the new championship belt.
Reigns has not defended since WrestleMania 39 when he defeated Cody Rhodes to retain his title. After the event, he has been directionless in terms of when he will defend next, with a tag title challenge at Night Of Champions not working out for The Tribal Chief thanks to Jimmy Uso.
The Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati has announced that Roman Reigns will defend his championship against Rey Mysterio at a WWE Live event on June 17.
This will not be the first time the pair have squared off, and most likely will not be the last. We will have to wait and see if Roman will be able to successfully defend his title once again.
