After their weekly show went off the air, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account to announce that Deonna Purrazzo will be defending her Knockouts World Title against Gisele Shaw at the Australia Down Under Tour on July 1st. If Gisele Shaw wins, she’ll step into the match at Slammiversary and defend the Knockouts World Title against both Trinity & Deonna Purrazzo.
At the IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United Show on March 30th, Deonna hit Gisele Shaw with the Queens Gambit and gained the pinfall to earned her spot in the Knockouts World Title match at Rebellion, where she defeated Jordynne Grace to become a 3x Knockouts World Champion.
Gisele Shaw answered Trintiy’s “Open Contract” for Trinity’s first LIVE event with the company, Under Siege. Shaw put up a good fight and even tried to have Savannah Evans & Jai Vidal run interference, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Trinity and her Starstruck submission.
Deonna teamed with her Slammiversary opponent, Trinity, to take on & defeat Gisele Shaw & Savannah Evans last Friday at Against All Odds.
