There were rumours that Daniel Bryan would venture elsewhere after his previous contract was finished. But he put those rumours to rest after having signed a new deal with the WWE.
In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer fills us in on Bryan’s latest contract:
“Daniel Bryan just signed his new contract so they’ve agreed on terms. As of 9/3 it was not official since WWE hadn’t signed it, but that’s a formality and it should be official very soon if not this week. It’s been pretty much a given now for several weeks that he wasn’t going anywhere for a number of reasons. But it was not an easy decision and he was lucky that whatever his decision was going to be, there was no wrong decision.”
It seems Bryan will be staying with the WWE for a long time to come. What his plans will be, only time will tell.
