AJPW Triple Crown Champion Yuji Nagata Title Defense Against Yuma Aoyagi Made Official

The next challenger for the current All Japan Triple Crown Champion Yuji Nagata has been confirmed.

As announced today, on July 2nd at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan, Yuji Nagata will be defending his AJPW Triple Crown Title against one half of the AJPW World Tag Team Champions Yuma Aoyagi.

Yuji Nagata was confronted and challenged by Yuma Aoyagi following his win over Yuma Anzai on June 17th. On June 18th, Aoyagi challenged Nagata again at NJPW Blue Justice XII following an 8 man tag team match which they were on opposite sides of.

The match will be part of the upcoming AJPW Summer Action Series 2023 tour. This will be the 4th AJPW Triple Crown Championship title defense for Yuji Nagata.
