THQ Nordic Producer Says They Would Have Been Fine With AEW: Fight Forever Receiving An “M” Rating

The developers of AEW: Fight Forever would have been find with a “Mature” rating for the game.

The game, which is set to release next week, is rated T for Teen. The game will still feature a lot of blood and violence in the finished game. There were rumors at one point that the game would be held up due to the rating issue.

THQ Nordic Producer David Knudsen said about the rating:

“No blood was ever taken out of this. We never dialed anything back. We were prepared to take an “M” rating if that was going to happen. Luckily, we came back with a “T” rating.”

AEW Fight Forever will release on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC on Thursday, June 29.
