IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Champion, KiLynn King, Discusses Entrance Music, What She Feels Fits Her Personality The Most
KiLynn first showed up in IMPACT Wrestling in December of 2022, and actually took on her current tag team partner, Taylor Wilde, on a BTI (Before The Impact) match.
King popped back up on the 3/9 episode of IMPACTonAXSTV when she snuck up behind Killer Kelly and beat her down. Wilde joined in, and they called themselves The Coven from that point on.
KiLynn King recently joined her tag team partner on her Wilde On podcast and discussed a number of topics, including what her entrance music would be in real life. The IMPACT star shared that her answer could be change on any given day, but at this point in time, Paramore’s ‘Misery Business’ would be her tune of choice.
“So if there was a song that I wanted to come out on my own right now, at this current point in my life, it would probably be Misery Business by Paramore. It’s just one of those songs where every single time it hits I just know exactly what I have to do with my energy, my body. I come out, I started singing the words, I get up close to the audience members and [mimics singing]. For me, for the longest time, I always took my entrance so seriously. I had to have badass music and come out and be like [brooding],” King said.
KiLynn would clarify, though, that even though the music would be more upbeat, she wouldn’t lose the attitude that she exudes on the way to the ring.
“I think I would still kind of come out with that [I’m gonna mess somebody up kind of thing], It would be like, I’m here to f**k somebody up, but also like, let’s have some fun. I don’t know if you’ve noticed this but I’m a little quirky,” she said.
King concluded by revealing that she did once come out to ‘Misery Business,’ and that she was even dressed up in a Jessica Jones style outfit.
“I did come out to that song once. I wanted to experiment and I tried to come out once and I literally did a Jessica Jones like – I didn’t wear my gear. I came out and I had ripped up black jeans, I had a white beater and a leather jacket and, of course, I already have the Paramore hair,” she said.
While KiLynn channels her inner Hayley Williams, Taylor Wilde shared that her music would likely lean in a much different direction.
“I think my entrance music would be totally different. My music tastes has always been like heavy metal, 80s, new wave, and now I’m into this crazy country thing. Y’allternative we’re calling it. Alternative girls gone into country music. So I feel like I would have two entrance songs. One would be Witches’ Wrath by the Bridge City Sinners which is like this badass – She actually kind of looks a little bit like you, but she’s covered in tattoos and she plays like the banjo. Witches Wrath, that’s the name of my finisher, so it’s pretty suiting,” Wilde said.
She then detailed how she would choreograph her entrance and transition between songs.
“And I would put a complete spin on that and do Zach Bryan’s song ‘Revival.’ I feel like I would start on the stage with Witches Wrath, which would make sense for everybody, and then it would [transition to] Zach Bryan’s ‘Revival’ and I would just break character and be like, ‘I love life!’ Yup, that’s me in a nutshell. Totally bipolar,” Wilde said.
