Fuego Del Sol is happy to be back in the ring.
Fuego is leaving AEW on July 1st, planning to work the independents after a stretch on the injury list. Del Sol made his return to the ring at VIP Wrestling Catch These Hands on June 23, where he faced Matt Sydal.
Fuego took to Twitter recently to celebrate his return, noting he felt “pure joy” when he got back in the ring.
4 Months… 4 long months of surgeries, doctor visits, rehab, and a ton of deep introspection, all culminating in my return to the ring last night! Coming through that curtain I had a multitude of feelings, but what I felt the most was pure joy. WE ARE BACK!

We will have to wait and see what comes next for Fuego, but he is absolutely ecstatic to be back in the ring.
