WWE have plans to make changes to their developmental brand, but are unable to at this time due to the WWE/UFC merger not being finalized.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports there is consideration to taking NXT back on the road for weekly television, however these plans are in limbo until the WWE-UFC merger is completed.
There is talk of taping NXT TV outside of Orlando & running house shows outside of Florida but in smaller venues like NXT did pre-pandemic. The merger not being finalised is holding up major changes
