Pro Wrestling NOAH superstar Kaito Kiyomiya is off to a fast start in the NJPW G1 Climax 33 winning his first two matches against Yota Tsuji and Chase Owens. Kiyomiya is tied with IWGP World Champion SANADA at the top of the A Block with 4 pts.

I said that I would bring the championship back to Noah. I think the IWGP will be a little further in the future, but of course I have my eyes on it. Whether it’s SANADA or Okada, if I defeat them and win the championship and return to Noah, I think they’ll have no choice but to follow me
Kiyomiya also commented on winning his first two matches of the G1:
Good! Two straight wins at the opening. I will continue to play the leading role. I was able to pay back my Canadian debt, and next (Nagaoka, 21st) is Shota Umino. Three wins in a row, thank you
Kaito Kiyomiya attempts to go 3-0 in the G1 Climax 33 on July 21st as he faces Shota Umino.
