Jack Perry Debuts New Theme Music, Ends HOOK’s Undefeated Streak, Wins FTW Championship On AEW Dynamite
As AEW Dynamite opened, Jungle Boy’s music would hit.
However, he would then appear on the titantron, burying his boots in the desert before getting into a limo, entering the arena to classical music and a chorus of boos.
HOOK would then make his entrance, cool and collected as ever. To kick off the match, HOOK would dominate early on against his former tag team partner. However, Jack used heel tactics to turn the match around the momentum would swing in the favor of the challenger.
Again, the momentum would shift with a massive T-Bone suplex from HOOK to Jack off the apron to the floor. HOOK however would not want to win via count out, with Jack taking advantage of this by hitting a draping DDT off the apron to the floor.
As the match boiled to its conclusion, Jack tried to use the FTW title, only for the ref to be knocked down. Following a huge suplex, HOOK would have the match won but the referee was down. As he tried to help the ref to his feet, Perry would hit the champion with his title and smirk while covering HOOK for the 3 count.
