Liv Morgan And Cody Rhodes To Help Pack Meals For Local Charity Event In Detroit The Day Before SummerSlam
The day before SummerSlam, WWE will be partnering with a local charity in Detroit.
Per Adam Graham of The Detroit News, the charity event will be held on August 4, the day before WWE Summer Slam, at Ford Field in Detroit with Rhodes and Morgan helping those in need.
Fans who would like to attend to help can purchase tickets for $150 tickets and $500 for VIP. 100% of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the V Foundation, which was founded by ESPN and late college basketball coach Jim Valvano, in support of Connor’s Cure, per Graham.
It was noted by Graham that this is the first of its kind for WWE and that they have been able to reach $39,710 of its $50,000 goal.
Cody Rhodes is set to take on Brock Lesnar one last time to settle their rivalry on August 5th at WWE SummerSlam.
Liv Morgan was attacked this past Monday on Raw where it’s being rumored that she is dealing with an injury that could keep her out of action for a while.
