Roxanne Perez Explains Why Blair Davenport Targeted Her, Vows To Take Her Out At The Great American Bash

Roxanne Perez and Blair Davenport are currently scheduled to face off at tonight’s NXT The Great American Bash in a Weapon’s Wild match.

Blair attacked a number of NXT women’s stars earlier this summer while hiding her identity, one of these women was former NXT champion Roxanne Perez.

The two have feuded since, and as mentioned, will battle in a stipulation match at tonight’s show.

That being said, while appearing on Sports Guys Talk Wrestling, Roxanne Perez stated that Blair knew if she hadn’t taken her out, she never would have touched the NXT Women’s Championship.

“I think I’ve learned that she feels the need to take out every single person so she can get to the top, which are not characteristics that I really like in a person. But I also realized that I know for a fact that she targeted me specifically right after I lost the NXT Women’s Championship because she knew that if I wasn’t taken out completely, if I wasn’t out of sight and mind, she wouldn’t be able to touch the NXT Women’s Championship. So she had to take me out, but jokes on her because I’m going to take her out this Sunday,”
