Chad Gable still ha s apoint to prove against the WWE Intercontinental Champion.
On this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, Chad Gable would face off in singles competition with Gunther. Originally, Gunther had stated Gable would not last 5 minutes. When he did so, the match was extended even further, with Grable wrestling Gunther to his limit until Gunther was able to finally put the Alpha Academy man way.
Speaking on Raw Talk, Gable commented on his match against Gunther.
“Does this look like victory to you? [Points to his chest] No. This was a five-star chest, okay, and he turned it into mincemeat in a matter of five minutes. Well, Gunther. Get yourself ready. Because on the other side of SummerSlam, Master Gable’s turning the coaching techniques on himself. Take care of your business. I’ll be waiting for you, and you’re paying for this chest, this five-star chest, and you’re paying for it with a lot more than five minutes. Because I’ll go five hours any day of the week, baby. Get yourself ready,”

Gunther is scheduled to defend his championship against Drew McIntyre on Saturday’s SummerSlam show. We will have to wait and see if Gable will be next to challenge Gunther for the title, should the champion retain at the weekend.
