Chris Jericho Chooses Victory, Don Callis Family On AEW Dynamite
Chris Jericho chose the easy way on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
On AEW Dynamite this week, Chris Jericho and Konosuke Takeshita battled Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara in a tag team bout to open the show. The match was slow paced at first, but quickly dissolved into an intense affair. In the end, Garcia would lock in the Dragon Tamer submission on Jericho. Guevara would then prevent Takeshita from breaking up the submission.
However, with the referee’s attention averted, Don Callis would use Floyd, hitting Garcia over the head with the bat, laying him out. After a brief hesitation from Jericho, he turned and pinned Garcia to pick up the victory in the opening contest of Dynamite’s 200th episode.
As Excalibur put it on commentary, Jericho not only chose victory, but the Don Callis family.
After the match, Daddy Magic confronted Jericho backstage and told him that there will be a mandatory meeting of the Jericho Appreciation Society next week after the incident.
