Seth Rollins says he owes his SummerSlam opponent a lot personally.
Becky Lynch and Finn Balor are incredibly longtime friends, with Balor actually being the one who trained Becky to wrestle. Years later, the two are currently both signed to WWE on Monday Night RAW. Also, Lynch is married to Finn’s biggest rival in WWE, Seth Rollins.
Despite their rivalry, Rollins admits that he owes Finn a lot personally for bringing Lynch into the industry.
Rollins told Daniel Cormier:
“Finn Balor is the person that trained my wife. He brought her into the industry. I owe him a lot on a personal level. I may not have a wife and a family if it wasn’t for him. I’m very excited to share the ring. I hope his headspace is where it needs to be because I want the best Finn Balor. I want the best Finn Balor because that’s going to bring out the best Seth Rollins, and that’s going to give the people and the World Heavyweight Championship the best matchup possible,”

While Becky will not be on Saturday’s SummerSlam card, Rollins and Balor will be facing off with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line at the event in a rematch from Money In The Bank.
