CM Punk did not expect his shots at Hangman Page to come across the way they did.
After AEW Collision on Saturday night, CM Punk took several shots at Hangman Page that were confirmed not to be storyline. This is the latest in a long line of issues Punk has had with The Elite, and now it seems he is regretful of his comments.
Haus Of Wrestling now reports that after his comments, Punk felt bad for making the comments towards AEW’s resident cowboy.
We have not heard anything in regard to Punk asking to have Page or Hardy not be present at the Greensboro Coliseum for the taping. However, we were told that Punk’s post-Collision promo comments about Page did not come across how he would have liked them and that he felt bad about them afterward.

On AEW Collision, Punk would team with FTR to attempt to take the AEW Trios titles from House Of Black, but had the match costed by Samoa Joe choking him out during the bout.
Meanwhile, FTR are preparing for a huge trilogy match with The Young Bucks at All In later this month.
