RVD Implies He Had WWE’s Permission To Make Appearances For AEW

Rob Van Dam has had enough of tribalism.

At Dynamite 200, Rob would make his debut for All Elite Wrestling, confronting FTW Champion Jack Perry. A week later, Rob would challenge for the title. Unfortunately, he would come up short in the matchup as Perry was able to steal a win from the former WWE Champion.

RVD took to social media to address WWE fans who have been critical of him making his performance.

Some fans are saying I did WWE wrong by appearing on AEW. I wonder if they would all eat shit f I revealed that I had permission to do it? Or would they just move on to puke out the next meaningless bullshit that comes out of their mouths? Yeah, I figured. I’ll keep it to my self for now.

With WrestleMania 40 coming up in the new year, many have speculated that Rob will be on hand for the event in Philadelphia, the home of ECW.

However, Rob has already teased possibly making a comeback to AEW in the future, noting he and Tony Khan have already discussed the possibility.
