AEW Talent Believes CM Punk’s Issues With Ryan Nemeth Were Caused By Nemeth Not Saying Hello To Punk

An AEW talent has an interesting take on CM Punk’s issues with Ryan Nemeth.

Back in June, CM Punk would corner Ryan Nemeth backstage at an AEW Dynamite taping and would berate the young talent. Punk would follow Nemeth into the hallway, seemingly unflinching in his anger with Nemeth for a tweet he sent out that dissed punk.

Now, it seems there may be more to that story. Nemeth was sent home from an AEW Collision taping over the weekend, and now it seems like it may be because Nemeth simply didn’t say hello to Punk.

PW Insider now reports that one AEW talent believes that to be the case, citing an incident at a hotel where Nemeth said hello to everyone else, but chose not to with Punk and the talent with him.

In regard to the Ryan Nemeth situation, one AEW talent believed that him being sent home may have been precipitated by Nemeth walking around and saying hello to everyone at the hotel before the taping, but not stopping and saying hello to CM Punk and others Punk was with.

At the same Collision taping, Punk ended up firing shots off at Hangman Adam Page after the show but would later apologize to Hangman.

We will have to wait and see if Punk will extend the same courtesy to Ryan Nemeth.
