Rob Van Dam Praises Jack Perry’s Performance In Their FTW Title Match
Rob Van Dam has noting but praise for Jack Perry’s performance in their FTW Championship match on a recent episode of AEW Dynamite.
The 52 year old has been widely praised by fans and peers for his incredible performance in the matchup but Rob does not want people to forget about the young star he shared a ring with.
Speaking on his 1 Of A Kind podcast, RVD was asked about working with Perry.
“I thought he was really good. I saw him when he was training. When I lived in LA, Katie [Katie Forbes] would train at Santino Brothers and sometimes I would go there with her, mostly just stretch, and Jungle Boy was there, training and stuff. Obviously, he’s come a long way since then. He’s comfortable out there, smooth, timing. Boom. He cheated, bro, [laughs] what do you want me to say? Also, I met him when he was a little kid when I met his dad. Luke was wrestling fan, so when we were at the Staples Center, it was probably 2001, I remember meeting Luke Perry and his little kid,”

Van Dam enjoyed himself while at AEW, noting that the atmosphere backstage is a largely positive one.
With WrestleMania 40 being held in Philadelphia, WWE will undoubtedly want to use Rob at the event but after that, we could see Rob back in AEW.
