The fallout from AEW All In continues in rapid fashion this week, with little being promoted. Beings there’s All Out to promote, backstage drama and action, and the recent deaths of Terry Funk and Windham Rotunda, this is understandable. As AEW brings its action to the NOW Area in Chicago, Illinois, the talent will do what it always does: distract us from the struggles everyone is facing. With that said, let’s dig in, shall we?
Orange Cassidy (c) vs Penta El Zero Miedo (AEW International Championship)
Whosoever wins this bout between the luchadore and the sloth-styled denim-wearer gets to defend the International Title against Jon Moxley at All Out this weekend. Will Orange Cassidy live to die another day, or will Penta go from a title win to immediate title defense? Regardless, these All In allies are bound to put on an excellent match.
Adam Cole Speaks
The new ROH Tag Team Champion tugged on everyone’s heartstrings in Wembley Stadium and beyond, as he and MJF won the gold from Aussie Open at Zero Hour, and again when facing MJF in the main event. What happens going forward knowing he did not win the World Championship and lost his friendship with Roderick Strong, Cole has a heavy future to deal with.
So there you have it – AEW has yet another pay-per-view to sell and so close to time, too. I will not be watching, due to budget constraints, but I will be watching the week’s episodes!
