When AEW made the decision for Bryan Danielson to face Ricky Starks this weekend at AEW All Out.
It is currently an incredibly chaotic time for All Elite Wrestling as the company has terminated CM Punk’s contract with cause.
This comes on an important weekend for AEW, as the company has been in Punk’s hometown of Chicago for All Out this weekend. Bryan Danielson has stepped in to save the day and will face off with Ricky Starks in a strap match at the event.
Fightful Select revealed when this week AEW knew Danielson would be brought in for the matchup.
as of Wednesday, Bryan Danielson was internally slated to face Ricky Starks. Danielson replaced Punk, who was originally planned, though not announced. Danielson is expected to be an integral name on AEW Collision, and was factored into the show heavily from the start.

We will have to wait and see how prominently Danielson will be featured on AEW Collision moving forward.
