Eddie Kingston Signs New Four Year Deal With AEW

Eddie Kingston will be in AEW for the next four years.

Kingston has now signed a four year contract with the promotion after being with the company since his confrontation with Cody Rhodes.

At Grand Slam, fans witnessed a classic between Kingston and Claudio Castagnoli, and in the end, Kingston was able to achieve his dream of bringing a world title home to his mother. After a vicious powerbomb, Eddie was able to keep Castagnoli down for the three count to an enormous pop from the New York crowd.

Shortly after the win, Kingston would announce he would not be wrestling on independent shows for the foreseeable future.

Speaking on AdFreeShows, Kingston revealed he signed a new contract with AEW and has four more years with the company.

“If you notice, you haven’t heard anything about me with a contract because I did my shit on the low. My thing was coming up, I got four more years. I’m straight. No one needs to know how much, no one needs to know how long. I got my fucking shit. I got my shit and I’m going to be there for a minute because there is nowhere else I want to be,”

Kingston debuted with the promotion in July of 2020 and after the match, Kingston would dedicate his Ring Of Honor World Title win to the late former champion, Xavier.
