Haley J was recently pulled from a WWE tryout due to issues with her medical paperwork.
The tryouts, of which we revealed the exclusive list of talent invited, which happened last week, were missing one of the names that caused the most intrigue amongst fans.
“Hollyhood” Haley J has recently gained fame for her involvement in the Netflix docuseries “Wrestlers” which focuses on the independent wrestling promotion OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling). Haley J has also wrestled for AEW on Dark in a losing effort to Serena Deeb.
Fightful Select now reports that Haley J was absent due to an issue with medical paperwork.
WWE held tryouts last week in Orlando, with several participants with wrestling experience attending the tryout. However, one announced name didn’t end up getting to go. We’re told that Hollyhood Haley J was pulled from the WWE tryouts due to reasons related to medical paperwork, per WWE and OVW sources. However, we’re told that WWE is hopeful that they can get her in the future. Haley J was one one of the most prominently featured talent on OVW’s Netflix series The Wrestlers. She’s made several appearances on All Elite Wrestling television in the past as well.

Haley J’s announcement was met with controversy, as she has been accused of assault by fellow women’s wrestlers and smoking weed before matches in OVW.
