Katsuhiko Nakajima Comments On The Future Of AXIZ With Go Shiozaki
As reported earlier by Bodyslam, net, Katsuhiko Nakajima has decided to leave Pro Wrestling NOAH after being with the promotion for 15 years. His last two matches for NOAH are scheduled for October 20th and 28th.
In his final match with Pro Wrestling NOAH, he will team with AXIZ tag team partner Go Shiozaki and they face Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura.
Nakajima and Shiozaki teamed together as AXIZ in NOAH from 2018-2020 and reunited in 2023. They held the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Titles on three separate occasions.
During an interview with Pro Wresting DX, Nakajima was asked about the future of the AXIZ tag team now that he is departing NOAH:
I think AXIZ is immortal. It was something that Go-san and I created from scratch, and I have special memories of it. I don’t think it has to end, even if I quit Noah, so I think it’s a temporary break. Korakuen and Fukuoka are a turning point between my history with Noah and AXIZ, I would like you to come and see it.
