Ariane Andrew – Formerly Cameron In WWE – Says Of Trinity: “She’s Going Out Creating Her Name On Her Own Terms”

Trinity currently sits on top of the IMPACT Knockouts Division- arguably THE best womens division of any North American company as far as booking and utilization – as the Knockouts World Champion.

Trinity debuted with IMPACT Wrestling on the 5/4 episode when she put the entire Knockouts division on notice, including the champion at the time, Deonna Purrazzo. Trinity’s official debut match was against KiLynn King two weeks later on the 5/18 IMPACT episode.

Trinity’s former tag team partner, Ariane Andrew, was recently interviewed by Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co. In the interview, Fall asked Andrew about Trinity’s run in the company.

“I just spoke to her a few days ago. That’s always gonna be my sister from another mister, I always say that. We have so much history, but you know what, I am just so proud of her right now. I feel like, you know, she’s been waiting for this moment for so long and I just appreciate that I feel like she’s going to be able to do exactly how she wants to do it in her way. It sucks because I feel like some people get opportunities where you’re just like, dang that happened so quick, but I do think that — what I’m learning in life is that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes someone’s success or the moment they’re waiting for takes twenty years, for someone [else] it takes a year and I feel like we all get so stuck in that comparison where it can seem like, damn, when am I gonna ever get my own opportunity because I’m busting my ass, over here doing all these things, but like, where is the payoff. I’m excited, I know in a million years maybe she didn’t think that would be the path or maybe she thought it would be WWE, but what I’m learning is when you walk away from something and you make yourself like where people are listening and seeing, after that people will want to be like, ‘Hey…so!’ What I’m proud of is that she’s going out creating her name on her own terms and you never know, the sky is the limit. Maybe she sticks to that, who knows. I feel like the sky has no limits for her.”

Trinity would go on to tear through the division for months, going undefeated and earning herself a Knockouts World Title shot at the company Slammiversary PPV back in July. Trinity would go on to defeat Deonna Purrazzo via submission at the event.

Trinity would then defend against Deonna at Emergence a little over a month later, and for the first time in IMPACT history, submitted Deonna Purrazzo for a second time and retained her title.

Trinity had another successful title defense a few weeks ago against Alisha Edwards at the LIVE Victory Road event. Trinity was also part of the winning team at IMPACT 1000 night 2 when she teamed with TNA/IMPACT legends Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, and Mickie James to take on Deonna Purrazzo, Angelina Love,’Gisele Shaw, Savannah Evans, and Tasha Steelz.

Yesterday on the weekly IMPACT episode, Trinity defeated Gisele Shaw in the main event slot on the show. Post match, Savannah Evans and Jai Vidal beat down Trinity until Mickie James was out and made the save. Mickie then said she never lost the Knockouts World Title, but gave it up due to injury. Mickie then challenged Trinity for the IMPACT Knockouts World Title at Bound For Glory next month, and the match was made official.

Yesterday, Trinity was also announced to take part in the IMPACT UK Invasion tour a week after Bound For Glory.
