Huge Return Expected For SmackDown 1000 To Go Along With Other Big Names Advertised Already

WWE will hold their 1000th episode of SmackDown LIVE on October 16th, 2018 from The Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

Last night I joined Barn Burner’s No Holds Barred podcast for the post-RAW edition of the show. During the show the topic of SmackDown 1000 came up, and host Joseph Peisich reported that Rey Mysterio is expected to make his highly anticipated WWE return on the event.

Other than the rumored return of Rey Mysterio, there have been other big names advertised for this huge episode of SmackDown LIVE. The Capital One Arena is advertising The Undertaker, Michelle McCool, Torrie Wilson, as well as former SmackDown General Managers Teddy Long and Vickie Guerrero.

Currently there have been two matches announced so far for WWE’s SmackDown 1000, a tag team matchup that will see Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles facing the team of The Miz and Samoa joe, also announced is a 6-Woman Tag Team Match that pits the team of Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Naomi against the team of Becky Lynch, and The IIconics (Peyton Royce & Billie Kay).
