Dakota Kai Provides Update On Dakota Kai’s ACL Recovery, Talks Meeting Jade Cargill
At SummerSlam, IYO SKY cashed in her Money In The Bank briefcase to become the WWE Women’s Champion and Dakota Kai was present after an incredible journey to make the event in time.
This appearance from Kai would bleed into recent SmackDown’s where she would be present as Damage CTRL laid out Asuka and Charlotte Flair, re-establishing their dominance over the SmackDown women’s roster.
Speaking on The Run Home, Kai was asked how her recovery has been going.
“If we’re looking at an ACL, particularly my injury, it would be about eight to nine months. It happened end of May, so it will be January, maybe February. I’m feeling good. I’m ahead of schedule in terms of my recovery. It will still be a minimum of eight months. Looking to be early 2024,”

Dakota would also talk about Jade Cargill and meeting her at the WWE Performance Centre.
“I saw her today when I went to do rehab, said hello. I’m so happy that she is here. That is such a big move. It’s cool. Talent is talent wherever you are. It’s very cool to see that dream matches being created and with her coming over, it’s very much a good thing,”

We will have to wait and see when Dakota will make her return to the ring, but it looks like at minimum, we will have to wait until early 2024 before Kai recovers from her knee injury.
