Katsuhiko Nakajima Comments On Speculation He Will Go To NJPW, Says He Has Been Thinking About Leaving NOAH Since Last Year

Katsuhiko Nakajima’s shocking departure from Pro Wrestling NOAH after 15 years continues to be the top story in the world of Japanese Pro Wrestling.

Nakajima gave an exclusive interview to Hochi News via telephone on September 29th to discuss leaving NOAH. During the course of the interview, Nakajima stated he had been thinking about leaving NOAH since last year. He also said that there are no bad feelings toward NOAH and that he has nothing but gratitude for the promotion.

Nakajima confirmed that he told NOAH two months ago about his intention of leaving the promotion and also mentioned when he told his AXIZ tag team partner Go Shiozaki:

After the N-1. Go-San also supported me. Although we reformed, we formed four years ago since then I have been part of AXIZ, and for a few years, I was in Kongoh, but even though Go-San was injured, he was both the person closest to me and my rival.

Hochi News brought up the speculation on social media that he is heading to NJPW and Nakajima addressed that speculation:

Is that so? I’m in pro wrestling, and the fun thing about pro wrestling is that you never know what’s going to happen.
