Julia Hart is set to take some time off from AEW.
At AEW WrestleDream, Julia Hart would challenge Kris Statlander for the TBS Championship. The match was highly competitive, with Julia coming close to taking the title off the champion on several occasions. In the end, Statlander would retain her title, with Brody King carrying Julia to the back afterward.
Fightful Select now reports that Julia and soon to be husband Lee Johnson will be taking time off to get married.
Julia Hart has emerged as a character within All Elite Wrestling, but that is about to slow a bit. Hart competed for the TBS Championship at AEW WrestleDream, losing to Kris Statlander. However, she’d seen her profile increase significantly in recent months, and led to an undefeated streak and the aforementioned title shot. However, she’ll be out of in-ring action for a little bit. Hart is scheduled to take time off for her honeymoon following AEW WrestleDream. She’d announced publicly that she was marrying fellow AEW wrestler Lee Johnson. We’re not sure if AEW will be filming any vignettes for when she is absent. Johnson is also scheduled to miss some time. He’s been a regular on ROH programming of late, taking on Claudio Castagnoli, Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty and others last month
