Kenoh States Jake Lee Is A Good Tourism Ambassador But The GHC Heavyweight Title Doesn’t Suit Him
On October 28th, the GHC Heavyweight Champion Jake Lee will be defending his title against the man who is arguably the face of Pro Wresting NOAH, Kenoh. What makes this match even more intriguing than it would normally be is that Kenoh is the only person to cleanly defeat Jake Lee since he made his debut for NOAH back in January 2023. Kenoh scored a victory over Jake Lee at the N-1 VICTORY 2023 tournament.
In a prelude to that huge title match, Kenoh teamed with Alpha Wolf on October 14th at Sunny Voyage 2023 and defeated Jake Lee and Tadasuke when Kenoh forced Tadasuke to tap out after applying his Kenoh Special submission hold.
Following the match, Kenoh addressed Jake Lee and congratulated him on recently becoming the Kitami Tourism Ambassador. After Jake Lee thanked him for the compliment and went to the back, Kenoh continued addressing the crowd and Jake Lee. Kenoh stated that while Lee looks really good as Tourism Ambassador, the GHC Heavyweight belt doesn’t suit him and vowed to become the next champion:
Looks really good as Tourism Ambassador, but, the GHC Heavyweight belt doesn’t suit him at all, right? If he’s the champion, and has the helm of Noah, where will he take it? He might be able to take Noah to the curling (curling is popular in Kitani) ring where there are a lot of Olympic athletes, but can he take Noah to a place where you can see the spectacular scenery of the pro wrestling world? I will defeat him on October 28th in Fukuoka, and I will take the helm. I once again promise that I’ll take all you assholes to a place where you can see the spectacular scenery of the pro wrestling world!
