Two World Title Matches Set For Saturday’s AEW Collision
Two world title matches have been set for Saturday’s AEW Collision.
On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, two world title matches were confirmed for Saturday’s Collision.
First, after defeating Juice Robinson for the Dynamite Diamond Ring, MJF would have a busy night. After fielding requests to team with him against Bullet Club Gold, Kenny Omega would come out to make a challenge to MJF. He wanted a world title match, in order to try prevent Max from taking his record as longest reigning AEW World Champion of all time.
Max would agree to the matchup for this Saturday’s AEW Collision at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
Furthermore, the AEW Women’s World Title will also be on the line as Hikaru Shida will defend her title against the winner of a fatal four way match on Friday’s AEW Rampage. Skye Blue, Willow Nightingale, Abadon and Anna Jay will vie for an opportunity at Shida’s championship.
Shida defeated Ruby Soho on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite to retain her championship.
You can read the advertised card for Saturday’s show below.
- AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Kenny Omega
- AEW Women’s World Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Anna Jay or Willow Nightingale or Skye Blue or Abadon
