Miyu Yamashita Retains Princess of Princess Title At All Rise ’23, Comments On Regina Spitting In Her Hand

On October 27th, Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling presented it’s latest event All Rise ’23 at Korakuen Hall.

The show was headlined by a Princess of Princess Championship match as the titleholder Miyu Yamashita defended her belt against Finland’s Regina. After a tough matchup, Miya Yamashita was able to put Regina away with the Crash Rabbit Heat to retain her title.

After the match, Yamashita offered a handshake to Regina only to have her spit in Yamashita’s hand.

Backstage, Regina explained why she disrespectfully spit in Yamashita’s hand:

I thought the match was going at my own pace. To be honest, I think Yamashita is a big deal as a Japanese wrestler. She just didn’t deserve a handshake.

Miyu Yamashita also commented backstage after the match about Regina spitting in her hand:

Regina was a really good opponent to challenge for the Princess of Princess belt. Regina is the champion of her own country, so she is not only big but also strong. However, when I asked her to shake my hand, she spit on me. Next, I want to go to Finland to kick Regina’s ass.

It appears the feud between Miyu Yamashita and Regina is just getting started. It will be interested to see if Yamashita will head to Regina’s home country of Finland for another match between the two.
