When Bryan Danielson’s AEW Contract Is Set To Expire

When Bryan Danielson’s AEW contract is set to expire.

Danielson is one of the top talents on the planet, but is winding down his exemplary career inside the squared circle. He is also currently dealing with a broken orbital that will keep him out of action until the end of the year.

That being said, despite it being an option, it does not seem that Tony Khan will be extending Bryan’s contract due to the injury, as Dave Meltzer reports on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.

“In theory, his (Bryan Danielson) contract will be over in September. Obviously, Tony Khan could extend it, but he’s not gonna be a dirty guy in this situation if Bryan wants to be finished.”

As AEW Dynamite drew to a close on Wednesday evening, Bryan Danielson ate both an Orange Punch and a Rainmaker and went down holding his face and was quickly examined by doctors.

On AEW Collision this week, it was announced that Danielson would require surgery and once again would find himself on the injured list. Later in the show, Claudio Castagnoli confirmed Bryan had suffered a broken orbital bone.

PWInsider would confirm over the weekend that the injury is in fact legitimate.
