Julissa, formerly known as Yulisa Leon in WWE NXT, captured The Crash Women’s Championship on Friday night in Tijuana, Mexico at The Crash Lucha Libre Aniversario XII show.
The surprise appearance saw Julissa capture the championship by winning a Five-Way over Trish Adora, Zamaya, Keyra and former champion Dulce Tormenta.
Julissa was released from NXT on September 23, along with other cuts, but she later revealed that she requested her release. This was her first match since then, and her debut for The Crash.
