AEW kept the announcement of their upcoming tournament very quiet.
On Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision, Tony Khan and Bryan Danielson announced a 12 man, round robin tournament for later this year called “The Continental Classic”.
The tournament will serve as AEW’s version of NJPW’s G1 Climax, with Khan stating that the 12 competitors will be top stars and that Danielson will feature in the tournament.
Fightful Select reports that AEW kept the announcement “very quiet”.
