Earlier today, Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful posted a whole bunch of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) by subscribers on Fightful Select about CM Punk.
One of those questions pertained to TNA’s interest in Punk.
Q: Could he go to TNA or NJPW?
“TNA has communicated their interest in CM Punk, and have enjoyed having him at their shows. Yes, he could absolutely go there if he chooses.”
Also, TNA reportedly made a ”massive offer” to now-AEW star Will Ospreay before he signed with the company.
Current IMPACT Wrestling Director of Authority, Santino Marella, made mention recently of how ”wicked” it would be to have Punk on the roster.
CM Punk reportedly popped up backstage at the IMPACT Bound For Glory Fallout TV tapings on 10/22. Bodyslam’s coverage of that can be found here.
Some people were hoping that Punk would show up at Bound For Glory, however, the reported word that came out of the Punk camp was ”hockey over wrestling”, as the hometown Chicago Blackhawks had their home opener on that Saturday Night, 10/21.
