Huge Backstage Departure From IMPACT Wrestling
PWInsider is reporting that long time Director and Producer for Impact Wrestling, Dave Sahadi has been let go by the company. Sahadi has worked with Impact for the last decade, and was responsible for a lot of the video packages and features that aired before PPV’s, and was said to be considered an extremely talented director.
Impact decided to let Sahadi go in what is just the latest in cost-cutting moves that the company has made since becoming owned by Anthem Media. The news of Sahadi’s release comes just one day after the announced departure of Rafael Morfi, who worked with Impact Wrestling as Live Event’s Manager.
Dave Sahadi was hired by TNA Impact Wrestling back in March 2006, after previously serving as Director of On Air Promotion for WWE. Sahadi’s hiring by TNA at the time was considered to be a huge acquisition for the company.
