Taya Valkyrie Comments On Austin Aries No-Selling Her Husband’s Finisher & Behavior Following BFG Main Event
As we have been reporting, Johnny Impact won the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship last night after defeating Austin Aries at Bound For Glory 2018. During the conclusion of the match Aries no-sold Johnny Impact’s Starship Pain finisher, and stormed out of the arena after yelling at IMPACT management who were located in the balcony.
The feud between Aries and Impact appeared to get personal and was very heated, resulting in a brawl Saturday night in which a company investor was knocked over in the skirmish. Aries had previously called Johnny Impact’s wife Taya Valkyrie husky after Impact had made jokes about Aries being short.
Taya accompanied Johnny Impact to the ring Sunday night at Bound for Glory, and remained at ringside for the duration of the match.
Taya commented on the incident following the World Title match at Bound For Glory when she responded to an article from Pro Wrestling Sheet. You can see Taya’s comment on the incident below.

Taya followed that up by retweeting and commenting on a fans tweet who had said that Austin Aries acted “f**king disrespectful, to which she responded by adding two middle finger emojis along with “AA”. You can see Taya’s follow up below.

New IMPACT World Champion Johnny Impact has yet to comment on the situation himself. However, he did post an image on his instagram account with the quote, “What you put into something is what you get out. Proud to be Impact World Champion.” along with it.
