Steve Austin Jokingly Says A Match Between Him And The Rock At WrestleMania 40 Would Be In Slow Motion

Steve Austin does not expect anyone to check out his melody this April.

The rivalry between Austin and the Rock has seen many stages, but the first of three matches at WrestleMania began in Philadelphia. The current location for WrestleMania 40 this year.

Stone Cold Steve Austin recently told Sports Illustrated that while he was not interested in running it back for a fourth time with the People’s Champion, stating that it would probably be in slow motion with how their ages are at this stage in their respective lives.

“I think that would be in slow motion,” said Austin with a laugh. “I don’t know about that, but Philly would be a great place for it to happen. I worked with The Rock at WrestleMania XV, and we rocked the house. I pinned his shoulders to the mat, one-two-three. But I don’t know about that happening now.”

The Rattlesnake last competed at WrestleMania 38 where he main evented the first night against Kevin Owens. The Rock has been linked to a match with his cousin Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, whether it be this year or in the future.
