Following the main event of last night’s NXT ‘Vengeance Day’ premium live event, Carmelo Hayes turned on longtime friend, Trick Williams. The attack came after Williams lost to Ilja Dragunov in his bid for the NXT Championship. Earlier in the night, Hayes and Williams came up short against Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals.
After the show went off the air, Kelly Kincaid caught up with Hayes, who had a simple, yet deafening response following his attack:
