Vince McMahon and his writers usually have it all planned out as far as stories go, with each feud receiving a definite end. Except for the case of the major storyline on RAW.
Braun Strowman turning heel and joining Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler to form the Dogs of War stable met with a lot of confusion and puzzlement from the WWE universe. But according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there was no plan for where the trio would go after a while.
“The stuff with Strowman, McIntyre and Ziggler is stuff Vince and the writers are coming up with weekly with no end game.”
“We’re not even sure if the end of Raw was to set up Strowman vs. McIntyre now, or it’ll be one of those heels break up and the next week they’re back together things that they do.”
Perhaps they will have a definite end to their story eventually. For the time being, they will be booked on a weekly basis.
