Tony Khan Believes All Elite Wrestling Will Be An Established Challenger In 2025

Tony Khan has high hopes for All Elite Wrestling in 2025.

AEW has certainly seen its changes since the company began in 2019. It marked the first time since 2001 that a major promotion could become a true rival to the WWE since WCW during the Attitude Era.

During the media call for AEW Revolution 2024, Khan spoke to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter about the five-year plan that he had set for AEW when it first began.

“The biggest opportunity lies in the media rights renewal, where Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision will all be getting huge, huge increases, I can say for sure. Going into that and having that confidence, I think ’25 is going to go down as the year where AEW really took the leap from being a start-up company to being the established challenger player in pro wrestling for decades to come and establishing all of that in basically five years, that was the five-year plan,” Khan said.

You can watch AEW Revolution this Sunday where you can see Samoa Joe defend the AEW World Championship against Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. Sting competes in the final match of his career as he teams up with Darby Allin to defend the AEW Tag Team Championships against the Young Bucks in a tornado tag match, plus much more.
